• Escoitamos a un mineiro que nos contou a súa apaixoante vida, alí.

Pasámolo xenial. Por unhas horas revivimos o xeito de vida do poboado mineiro de Fontao guiados polo mestre de ceremonias :Falcón.

MIRÓ

Hello everyone!!!

We,the pupils from first cycle , want to share something with you, we started working in a project:“The Magic of Miró”about his life  and his great paintings and sculptures.

He was brilliant.

We have started with a very funny tale which shows us his life and work,although the story is suitable for children we invite you to watch it.

 MIRÓ'S TALE

Now, we have to choose one painting to work on it. A very difficult task. Don’t you think?

We will show you in a short future our “little” creations.

AH! We want to tell you that in Silleda , we have discovered, a Miró’s painting. Can you find it? Please , tell us where. 

A new school year

On Friday ,11th October all the school went hiking as a celebration of the new school year. We went to church and after being blessed by God . We started our stroll :
First , we visited the garden of the Pazo of Sestelo, then we enjoyed the views and the

forests of Siador on the way of the Pazo of  Trasfontao to arrive to Las Pedrosas,

a park in Silleda. There, we had a great lunch with sandwiches , croquettes, pasta... and loads of delicious things.

To end up, Manuel, our fantastic PE teacher organized games for us .

A great day !!!!!

RECREOS SALUDABLES

Healthy breaks?

 What is this? 

In our school,CPMI, the teachers decided to change our bad habits (eating buns, doughnuts...) for FRUIT.

Last year, on Wednesdays students brought a piece of fruit to eat during the break .
 Due to the success we extend the proposal to two days: Wednesdays and Fridays.

Before going downstairs, the classroom supervisor ticks on a grid the students who bring fruit.
When the course finishes, there will be a winner.
Who will win? 
Who knows? We have to wait.

Ah! Pay attention a girl from 4th grade had a very healthy idea: to have a healthy birthday. She brought delicious "brochetas" for the whole class.

Congratulations: Leire, we will copy from  your idea.

Yummy, yummy!!!!

Follow our advice and bring your fruit. Teachers, you too.

An Emoticon , Smiley or Emotional Icon

is a sequence of ordinary characters you can find on your computer keyboard. Emoticons are used in e-mail and other forms of communication using computers such as chatting. The most popular emoticon is the smiling face (smiley) .These emoticons show an Emotion through an Icon. Over a hundred of these Emoticons are being used, here you have our own representation: 4^th Grade had a very entertaining morning . Enjoy!!!!!

Activities in CLIL

As everybody knows in Primary we have a  Bilingual  and a Plurilingual section  in Arts . We are doing lots of activities but we have only space for a few ones:

Crafts: a bookmark , a crab box, a ship, a 3D crocodile , a 3D  jeep, masks-used in the very ancients plays – a 3d recration of a hunt in the Ice Age , a hangerdoor , the game of the discovery of America and of course, pinecones angels and stars for Christmas.

Paintings:

We worked with different famous paintings, doing the students own version or doing jigsaws. Some of them were: Henri Matisse “The Dance”, Paul Gaugain “An orchard under the church of Bihorel”, Leonardo da Vinci “Lady with an Ermine” and Franz Marc “The Blue Horse”.

Apart from those,  we returned to the dinosaurs age and we draw our footprint, we create a tangram to form different shapes .We designed our particular Vitruvian man and we constructed classical columns Doric, Ionic and Corinthian.
